Hi! I’m Brittany! I’m a West Michigan-based filmmaker with a passion for storytelling and nature. My main focuses are cinematography, editing, and writing. But, if I’m being honest, I love every aspect of film making!

Growing up, my sisters and I loved writing stories and putting on plays for our parents. My parents encouraged our creativity and taught us the importance of seeing the beauty in the natural world through yearly camping and hiking trips around Michigan. As a filmmaker, I want to carry those influences from my early years into my work. I love trying to see the beauty in every location and using natural light on a shoot. I especially love the challenges that come with outdoor shoots. One thing I love about working in film, you’re ALWAYS learning and challenging yourself with something new. I am constantly seeking out new challenges to grow not only as a filmmaker but as a person as well. It makes life more exciting!

I attended film school and received my B.F.A with a focus on Cinematography and Writing. Since then, I’ve been working for various production agencies as both a freelancer and full-time employee. These experiences have allowed me to test my skills in all production departments doing work for clients that has given me the opportunity to travel all over the country!
